On raid nights, we’ll come prepared, respect each other’s time, and work at getting better. We want to raid with people who can have a rough night without taking it out on each other. And if you never set foot in a raid, we still want you to feel just as much a part of the guild and our other shared activities and events.

Alliance will be our main home and where we raid, with a Horde guild for alts.

In the past 4 weeks we’ve been growing an active and friendly Discord server in preparation for a new guild in WoW Forever.

As a community we’ve voted for guild name, faction, tabard and lastly raid structure.

We’ve got all types of players ranging from veteran raid leaders that have player for years to complete new players that haven’t played a minute. Everyone is welcome.

There is no rush to 60 and no expectation to raid. We want to make it the best experience for however you want to play and whatever your plan is.

We plan on questing, leveling, dungeoning, raiding and everything else WoW Forever has to offer as a guild.

Vi er en nyoppstartet norsk guild som skal spille Alliance på Normal (PvE). Vi ønsker å bygge et sosialt, aktivt og inkluderende fellesskap med fokus på samarbeid, dungeons og etter hvert raids.

Her er det plass til både nybegynnere og erfarne spillere i alle aldre! Vi har allerede medlemmer fra 17 til 59 år, og har forståelse for at folk har jobb, skole og et liv utenfor skjermen.

Vi tenker i første omgang å samle 30-40 spillere og bygge en stabil guild med aktive medlemmer.

Well join Gryphon's Compact on the RP ruleset.

We're an Alliance RP-lite guild, so we will hold RP events and facilitate RP in open world and dungeons while not requiring it in guild chat.

Our goal is to be a guild for regular people who can act like adults and want to have a fun 3rd space. We also love new players. Many of our founding members will brand new not just to forever but WoW as a whole.

We don't want to micro-manage grown adults so we have very simple rules.

Have an RP friendly name per the RP ruleset requirements and not a gamertag, pun or joke as a name.

Don't be rude or hostile to other people. If a joke isn't well received, just apologize.

Don't be politically brain rotted. Polite Political discussion within the normal confines of American discourse is fine but we're not looking for groypers, terrorist supporters or any sort of weirdos.

Don't demand meta. Parse to your hearts content but don't demand others do the same.

**Raid** **Philosophy**

In classic I played a ret paladin until I was forced to put on a dress and heal. I completed six raids before getting bored with the end game and leaving until forever launched. I don't want that kind of environment.

Our goal is fun, classic is an easy game. Meta chasers try to speed run. We do challenge runs the proper way - by playing with the people who want to play regardless of whether they have the BiS or the best spec. We won't turn down Shadow Priests or Arms Warrior DPS.

We also will not be rushing to end game. There's plenty of PUGs to play in the mean time if you hit 60 before the rest of us. Have your fun and BS with in the guild chat after.

**Guild** **Theme:**

Gryphons Compact is named for a symbol of Lordaren. The Gryphons compact is a head canon treaty between refugees of Lordaren with various peoples. They help the refugees in reclaiming their homeland, and we in turn help other races and groups with their aims that will be developed more as we progress and fill up the guild.

**Special Ranks**

Bored of officers and members? We will be making special ranks for members depending on their culture, class, and RP character. A Warlock Officer may be the High Occultist, while a Dwarf Officer may be the Emissary to Ironforge.

**Open Recruitment**

Active Members will be given full invite privileges. Once myself or any officer recognizes you playing enough to qualify as an active member then congrats, you can invite other people. A few days playing with the guild will typically be sufficient for membership status. If someone can recognize your name and see you a couple times then congrats you're an active member.

In the early stages, everyone who joins will be instantly an active member.

We're Nice Name, a UK guild heading Horde-side on the WoW Forever PvP realm. We're in the middle of a vote to change the name, and right now Kettle's On is winning. So if you join us you might end up in a guild named after making a brew. You've been warned ☕

A bit about us. We came over together from TBC, so we're an established bunch, not a guild that got thrown together last week. There are about 80 of us in the Discord and around 30 who are properly active. Some of us have even met up in real life, which is pretty cool.

We're a proper all-rounder guild, and we actually mean it:

• Endgame raiding is a big focus. We want to clear content and we'll take it seriously when it counts, but nobody's getting screamed at over a wipe. • PvP is a big focus too (it's a PvP realm, after all). A few of us are pretty handy at it and have done arena before, so if you fancy getting into it, we'll drag you along. • General PvE covers dungeons, levelling, alts, farming, the lot.

Get ganked in STV? Shout in guild chat and we'll ride out. Revenge is a team sport.

The thing we're proudest of is that we actually help each other. If you need one item for your build, someone will run it with you. That's just how the guild works.

We believe fun is the first priority. There is no requirement to play a certain way, hit level cap by a specific time or to participate in raiding or pvp if you do not want to. For those that do want to, we approach content with a progression mindset without the pressure of a screaming raid leader or parse log bullying. We expect if you choose to join our raid team or pvp group you are willing to listen and follow instruction when provide. We do not expect you to know all content but be able to listen to direction and do your best.

We're a small group of mature (ish) adults looking for some like-minded people to join us on the journey. We're friendly, inclusive, helpful, very casual and mostly unserious. The plan is to help each other level and run dungeons together and then take it from there, everything including PvP, BGs and Raids when we get there. There's never any pressure to be present or play on a schedule, just casual gamers having some fun together. The most important thing for us is that we all feel comfortable together, everything else will fall into place. Current guild members are all adults, some of us have jobs and families, some of us are retired. We are spread out over all US time zones. We're in no rush to get to end game content, but we are motivated to get there together. Send us an intro if you feel like this may be your vibe!

The idea is that all of us will likely want to drop WoW for a few weeks when PoE leaguestart comes around, and those of us that also want to play Forever won't want to be held to any kind of raid schedule during those times. We could all binge the new league and reconvene a couple weeks later to resume raiding.

Nothing too demanding, with the current intention only being one scheduled raid night per week, with the possibility of more when new content drops if that's what members want at the time (no obligations, no stress).

Hoping to keep a mature environment where everyone can have a good time with a healthy amount of joking around, but ready to focus up when it's time to raid and a zero tolerance for toxicity.

Many other details to be finalised once we get enough people to agree preferences such as raid day/time/length etc. and more.
